The world of Lenfell is one where Humans and other races have been pushed to the brink of destruction. Not by rampaging orcs or deranged necromancers, but instead by the power of the Feywild itself.
Lenfell originally existed nearly on the same plane as the Feywild. Over thousands of years the Eladrin and other Fey races became masters of the world, and lived in a manner similar to life on the Feywild. However, during the Dawn War two deities escaped from the Primordials and found this world, and in an attempt to distance themeselves from the battle in the Cosmos, become near-mortal themeselves and shattered the close bridges between the Feywild and Lenfell. The resulting magical blast killed one of the deities and closed the bridges between the two planes to all but the strongest of magic.
They Fey were aghast and filled with rage that strangers would come and wreck such a paradise, and in their anger they mounted a war against the last god, Savan. Savan, a God of Battle and Honor from a world where the Primordials had one, instead opened a gate and summoned thousands of his followers. Humans, Dwarves, Gnomes, Elves and others swarmed through the portals, to a new world of rich beauty and promise, fleeing a world that was quickly becoming a harsh, dead desert.
